Hi Guys and Girls,

We are purchasing a 14 day JR Pass and need some advice on the following :)

Travelling from Osaka to Tokyo (Shinjuku-Gyoenmae to be exact) I would do the following?
Osaka airport catch JR train to Shin-Osaka Station
Then get JR bullet train to Tokyo station
From Tokyo Station take Marunouchi Line to Shinjuku-Gyoenmae station. Would this be another JR train or just a local train?

NEXT

Shinjuku-Gyoenmae station to Disneyland
Apparently there is a JR bus that does from Shinjuku station direct to Disneyland? Is this the best option or are we best catching JR train? Cant find a great deal of information on either at the minute. Like how to get from Shinjuku-Gyoenmae station to Shinjuku station or if they are the same place.....HELP

Thanks in advance

Hello there,

Shinjuku-Gyoenmae is a metro station not too far from Shinjuku station. My advise would be to use the JR Pass to Shinjuku(JR) and from there take the Metro (Murunochi) line.

The train station for Disneyland is called Maihama. You can use the JR from Shinjuku station to travel there. The bus from Shinjuku - Disneyland is not covered by the JR Pass, so I would recommend using the train.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
