Dear All,

I am planning to visit Japan on 4-11 November 2016

My trip will be:

4 November - Arrive Narita
5 November - Shikarawago - overnight in Toyama or Kanazawa
6 November - Alphine route - end in Nagano
7 November - Go to Kyoto - overnight in Osaka
8 November - Osaka sightseeing - back to Tokyo
9 November - Tokyo Sighseeing
10 November - to Kawaguchi lake (day trip)
11 November - Tokyo Shopping - depart at night

Is it better to have 7days JR pass for iteniary? Which location from my trip plan that I could optimise my JR pass. We will go by a group of 4.

Onother question, can we use JR pass for airport transfer to tokyo?

Thank you. Arigato Gozaimase (hope the spelling is correct :) )

Kind regards,

Eka

Hello Eka,

I would use a 7 day JR Pass for your trip from day 4-10 and buy normal tickets for the remaining days. Although the difference is very small with using it from day 5-11, both are viable.

The JR Pass includes travel from the airport into Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
