Should I buy a JR pass or single fare tickets or day passes? My itinerary as follows:
Day 1: arrival at kansai airport to namba oriental hotel
(What train ticket to buy?) Day 2: osaka tour; 1st stop at ramen museum then osaka tour
Day 3: universal studios; back to hotel then travel to kyoto at night
Day 4: kyoto tour; back to hotel then travel to tokyo at night
Day 5: tokyo tour
Day 6: disneyland
Day 7: narita airport

Thank you.

Hi Michelle,

For your itinerary I recommend buying normal tickets. A JR Pass is great if you travel between different regions a couple of times. For instance a return Tokyo - Kyoto can already pay for the JR Pass. Your longer travel is limited to one way Kyoto - Tokyo, the rest is within the Kansai and Tokyo area's. In short, it would be more economic to simply buy normal rail tickets.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
