Hello! I'm going to Japan with a couple of friends, and we're going to be travelling from day 1. So I was wondering how we would do it with the JR-Pass due to the restriction of 21 day etc. I was considering buying a 21 pass then a 14 day pass at the same time, how would this work? Will both passes start off at once or can I keep the 14 day pass until I want to turn it on for the last 14 days?

Hi there,
You can select the day that the JR Pass starts when you exchange it in Japan. You could thus use one JR Pass and simply start using the next after :)
Hope this helps,
Daniel
