Hello!

I'll be traveling with my parents(both over 60years old, but still pretty active) on April-March/2016 and so far I've come up with the following agenda:

15/04/16 Arival at Haneda Airport (Tokyo - Matsumoto)
16/04/16 Matsumoto
17/04/16 Matsumoto – Ise – Nagoya
18/04/16 Nagoya – Takayama
19/04/16 Takayama – Kanazawa
20/04/16 Kanazawa
21/04/16 Kanasawa – Kyoto
22/04/16 Kyoto
23/04/16 Kyoto
24/04/16 Kyoto
25/04/16 Kyoto
26/04/16 Kyoto – M. Koya
27/04/16 M. Koya – Osaka
28/04/16 Osaka – Himeji Castle
29/04/16 Hiroshima
30/04/16 Miyajima – Nagasaki
01/05/16 Nagasaki – Kobe
02/05/16 Kobe – Tokyo
03/05/16 Nikko
04/05/16 Kamakura
05/05/16 Hakone
06/05/16 Lake Kawachiko
07/05/16 Tokyo
08/05/16 Tokyo
09/05/16 Tokyo
10/05/16 Tokyo
11/05/16 Departure from Haneda Airport

I was thinking of buying the JR Pass for 21 days in the beggining and afterwards use the local transportantions in Tokyo.

I'm pretty unsure towards the agenda, so any comments are more than welcome!
Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

This does look like an active itinerary but I much like the idea. I would also recommend using a 21 day JR Pass for the first 21 days as there is quite a lot of travel and you'll make nice savings with the JR Pass.

Do keep in mind that travel time from Hiroshima - Nagasaki and Nagasaki - Kobe is quite long. It may be nice to stay 1 more night in Nagasaki to relax a little and explore the city better.

The rest looks very good!
Daniel
