Hi! Traveling in July 2016.
Arrive July 6th, 4 nights Tokyo, with one side trip to Kamakura. July 10th, travel to Kyoto for 3 nights. July 13th, travel to Fuji/Hakone area for 5 nights. July 18th, Gotemba to Tokyo Narita. Stay in Narita one night, fly out July 19th
Should I get the 7 or 14 day?
Thanks!

Hi there,

I recommend a 7 day JR Pass and use to travel to Kyoto, Fuji and the day trip to Kamakura.

This would allow you to get the best use out of the JR Pass and cover your long distance trips like Tokyo - Kyoto and back.

Do note that additional travel may be required around Fuji, depending on where you stay. We have more information here: http://www.jrpass.com/blogs/itinerary-tip-mt-fuji

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thank you! So does the JR pass have to be used 7 consecutive days, or can it be split up?
