Hello there,

I would recommend a 7 day JR Pass for your travel. Below is a list of normal ticket prices, to give you an idea of possible savings.

Narita Airport - Kyoto ¥ 16,380
Kyoto - Osaka (return) ¥ 1,020
Kyoto - Hakone (Odawara station) ¥ 12,080
Odawara - Nikko ¥ 9,240
Nikko - Tokyo ¥ 5,580

For a total of ¥ 44,300 or ¥ 15,190 in savings as the 7 day JR Pass is ¥ 29,110.

For your last days in Tokyo, consider buying a Suica card to make traveling around the city a lot more convenient.

In Kyoto there's a bus pass for 500yen/day for unlimited travel. It's a great deal if you want to explore to city.

Hope this helps and enjoy Japan!
Daniel

Hi Daniel-san,

Thank you so much for your prompt response.

We have few more inquiries,

Regarding transport in Kyoto and Osaka, will it worth to get the 2 days Kansai Thru Pass?
The following are the places that we are going to visit in Kyoto and Osaka:
Kyoto - Gion, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Arashiyama
Osaka - Instant Noodle Museum, Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky Building, Dotonbori

Secondly, what is the most efficient route to travel from Odawara - Nikko? And at Nikko, is it worth to get the 1 day Tobu Pass.

And lastly, we plan to visit either DisneyLand or DisneySea on 1 of the days during Tokyo stay. Which one do you recommend for group age 30-38?

We are looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Juliana,

In Osaka I would recommend the Osaka Amazing Pass. This pass allows for unlimited transport within Osaka and also gives free admission to many places, including Osaka Castle and Umeda Sky Building.

In Kyoto, the 500yen bus pass is the best option to travel around.

From Odawara - Nikko, take this route. It's a very nice route for a lot of travel on the Shinkansen and completely covered by the JR Pass.

As for Disneyland / Disney Sea. I would probably go for Disney Sea, as it is unique to Japan and the Disneyland resembles other Disneyland parks worldwide.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
