Tokyo - Hokaido - Osaka in 11 days

I would like to travel 11 days in Japan with my family that cover Tokyo, Sapporo Hokaido and Osaka.
I land at Haneda Airport and come back to my country via Kansai, Osaka
So the itinerary is like below :

Day 1 : Arrived in Tokyo via Haneda at 11.30 pm
Day 2 : Tokyo - Disneyland
Day 3 : Tokyo - Disneyland
Day 4 : Tokyo - Disneysea
Day 5 : Mt. Fuji - Gotemba and then take a night train to Sapporo
Day 6 : Sapporo
Day 7 : Sapporo
Day 8 : Sapporo - and then back to Tokyo with night train
Day 9 : Tokyo - and then take night train to Osaka
Day 9 : Osaka
Day 11 : Osaka - and then back to my country at night via Kansai at 11.30 pm.

I am planning to buy 7 days pass.

1. Worth or not for me to take the JR pass ?
2. Can it cover my travel plan?
3. On which day should I start using it?.

Thanks a lot !

Hello there,

1.) Easily yes! Traveling one way to Sapporo will almost pay for a single 7 day JR Pass and you will make amazing savings over normal ticket prices.

2.) This one is a bit tricky, yes the JR Pass covers all the routes you wish to travel including the super fast Hayabuse Shinkansen. However there are little to no night trains going between Tokyo - Sapporo and these are generally sold out days to weeks in advance. I really would advise looking to travel by day, or look at alternative options.

3.) I'd advise to start using it on then day when you travel to Hakone.

Hope this helps,
