What is the best way to get to Fujisan Station from Kyoto station. I know I can't use my JR pass to cover the whole trip but need to find the fastest, least complicated way to get there.
I know that I can take the Fujikyuko bus from Mishima to Fujisan Yamanakako bus stop, but is that the same as fujisan station as that is where the my hotel shuttle needs to pick me up from.

Hi there,
Fuji-san is just one station away from Kawaguchiko station.
To complete your itinerary, take the bus from Mishima station to Kawaguchiko and then use the train for one station to Fuji-san.
