Hi! I have some questions:
1) Is it practical or advisable if we use the train (JR pass) from Sapporo to Haneda Airport if our flight schedule is at 3:20pm?
2) Do we need to buy Hokkaido Rail Pass aside from the JR Pass if we are just touring around Hokkaido?
Our trip is from March 3 to 9 Manila-Haneda-Manila.
Manila to Haneda - arrive 2pm
Haneda to Manila - depart 3:20pm
We are thinking if we should just book a plane ride from Haneda to Hakodate then return from Sapporo to Haneda. but might be costly as we still need to buy JR Pass/ Hokkaido Rail Pass for us to use to tour Hokkaido. What can you advice?
I'm worried we might be wasting too much time on train ride only and might not have available public transportation to and from our hotel if we arrive/depart too late/too early.
