Can someone from a Hotel sign for the JR Pass if I am away?

I will be travelling to Japan in a less than 2 weeks. I just knew about the JR Pass.
Thing is I already started my trip. Can I ask to send the JR Pass to a Hotel?
In case JR Pass arrives when I am away, can someone in the hotel sign for me?

Thank you

Hi again!

Yes, we can deliver to your hotel in Japan. Do keep in mind that shipping takes about 3 business days to Japan as well.

Also, please note that the JR order has to be placed outside of Japan.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your answer. I was planning to send it to a hotel in Korea, that is my previous destination before Japan. Is it ok anyway?

Thanks

Hi again!

Yes, that is perfectly fine!

(Be sure to tell the hotel in advance that you are expecting a package, otherwise they may refuse it).
