We are travelling to Japan in Feb. Our itinerary is as follow

Day 1 - arrive at Haneda and travel to Kyoto
Day 2 - Kyoto and day trip to Kobe
Day 3 - Kyoto to Tokyo
Day 4 - 5 - Tokyo
Day 6 - Tokyo to Narita

Wondering what the best pass is to get? And any tips would be much appreciated.

Hi Lyzie,

Using a 7 day JR Pass would work the best here. The pass itself is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto, all other travel you do with it basically becomes free. Such as travel to Kobe, from Haneda and to Narita Airport. Additionally the JR Pass can by used on many local lines in Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
