Travel from Tokyo to KyotoI will be traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto on June 28 and returning to Tokyo on July 1. I am having some trouble finding out how to purchase round trip Shinkansen tickets. Where can I purchase them prior to my trip to Japan? On the internet? The only tickets I am finding that I can purchase prior to my trip is a 5 day pass that is not valid on the Shinkansen Nozomi train to Kyoto. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

I do not have a lot of time while I am there. I don't have a problem spending the money on a Nozomi train. So I can basically buy a Nozomi train ticket when I arrive there? I've seen tickets are almost always available (even the day before, referring to your #1 option). This seems like the best option seeing that the 7 day pass doesn't include Nozomi trains, correct? |
