Miyajim island ferry and Hiroshima tram linesCan I use the JR pass for rising tram and for ferry ride to Miyajima island, or would that require seperate tickets once arriving in Hiroshima? (I'm assuming separate.) We're planning to do Hiroshima as a day trip from Kyoto. |

Hi there - You can use the JR Pass on the Miyajima ferry from JR Miyajimaguchi station, however the Hiroshima tram within the city is not covered as it is not a JR operated service. Hope this helps! |

In my last trip to Hiroshima, I walked from the Peace Memorial Park to the road junction towards the west, crossed The conductor did not collect any charges from me, and he even directed me to take the JR ferry to Miyajima island. . John |

I'm not sure - I think you may've found a friendly conductor! From the sounds of it, you boarded the Hiroden miyajima line. You can find all the Hiroden streetcar routes here. Hope this helps! |
