Is there a direct train available from NRT to Himeji ?

While there is no direct train from Tokyo Narita to Himeji it is a simple enough trip, with a single change at Tokyo station onto a bullet train. Here is a suitable sample itinerary for you.

What is the frequency of train to Himeji ?

Narita Express trains run to Tokyo every 30 minutes, and there are suitable Hikari Bullet Trains every hour (at 3 minutes past the hour).

Also for return journey on 20th April, is there a train available from Himeji to Tokyo city after 6 pm? If not, is there a train on 21st April from Himeji to Tokyo city after 7 am ?

Yes there are suitable trains after 6pm, with the last train departing at 7:18pm, here is a selection of routes. If you are unable to make this train there are many on the 21st departing after 7am.
