Reservations before arrivalCan my daughter who is living there make reservations for us on Shinkansen before we arrive since it is Golden Week when we are there? Also, is there any problem with ordering online as opposed to going to a Travel Agent. We depart April 25 so am anxious to have this all arranged. Thank you. |

Hi there, Yes, your daughter will be able to visit the JR ticket office and a JR station and make seat reservations on your behalf (There may be a small charge associated with this). Alternatively, she can make seat reservations for free at eki-net.com online (website is in Japanese). For departure on the 25th of April you have lots of time for your order to arrive should you place your order online. We use FedEx for all our orders who offer a very prompt and efficient service and you can find all our delivery speeds on our delivery page online. Hi there, Your daughter will be able to make reservations for you at the station (or for free on eki-net.com that you will be able to use with your JR pass. You will not need to let her know your voucher number for her to do this. I hope this helps! |
