Hi Vivian, Lets compare the prices for your travel from the 12th to 25th against the cost of a 14 day pass (¥45,100) to see if it makes sense for you.
TOTAL: ¥66090 for 7 legs As you can see you'll make a saving of ¥20,990 with a 14 day pass starting from the 12th so I can certainly recommend this option. Hope this helps! |

Hi Vivian, Here's a sample itinerary to Seibuchichibu for you. As you can see you can use the JR Pass up until Tokyo. From there, you'll need to use the metro to get to Ikebukuro, and then the Seibu line out to Seibuchichibu (Seibuchichibu and Chichibu stations are very close together in Saitama). Although the metro and seibu line are not covered by the rail pass (my mistake above - apologies), the cost of these hops is only ¥940 each way. Hope this helps! |
