Worried that Pass May Not Reach Me in Time for Trip to Japan

I purchased a JR pass Thursday to be delivered to me by way of my daughter in Seattle. I need it by Monday, November 10, as I am leaving from Seattle for Tokyo early the next day.I have not yet heard confirmation that it has been sent.

1) Should it arrive Monday assuming it goes out today, Friday?

2) Neither my daughter or I will be at home to receive the FedEx package Monday in Seattle— can we leave a signed note on the door asking that it be left without our being there?

3) If no to either question above, would it be better to have it delivered to my hotel in Japan, where I will be arriving on Wednesday, November 12?

Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

1.) I completely understand your worries! Generally Shipping to Seattle is overnight and you may even receive the pass today.

2.) The package does need a signature, although sometimes the pass is put directly in the mailbox.

3.) If that does not work, please contact us at support@jrpass.com with your order number and we will see what can be done!

Hope this helps,
Daniel
