Hello,
i would be traveling around Tokyo for day 8-10. It will be after the 7 day limit of JRPass.
Should i just get Tokyo day passes? - Which kind should i get? i read some mention i cannot take express trains? is express trains bullet trains? I'm so utterly confused. I'm so overwhelmed with information available and different terms used. It is my first time in Japan for ten days.
or shall i just buy a 14 days JRPass?

Appreciate reply.
Thank you!

Thank you so much for the reply Daniel.

Looks like getingt a IC card is very useful (I can even use it for food)! Thanks for the link!
can IC card be use for buses? Some of my accomodation needs buses (& subways) to reach.

I will be heading down straight from Haneda airport to Osaka (2 nights), then Kyoto (3nights), then Hakone (2 nights - I understand I need to get another pass for Hakone-Mt fuji), and lastly Tokyo (2nights).

Hi there,

An IC card is valid on pretty much anything these days. Even some taxis take it.
