Hi,

It will be my first time going to Japan in September and I will be in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka for about 10 days.
This is my draft itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Narita at 6pm and I need to go to Ueno Station/Tokyo
Day 2: Central Toyko (Akihabara, Ueno, Ginza)
Day 3: Western and North Tokyo (Fuji, Meiji Jingu and Asakusa)
Day 4: Disney Sea
Day 5: Tokyo Disney
Day 6: Yokohama
Day 7: Tokyo - Kyoto
Day 8: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Day 9: Kyoto - Osaka
Day 10: Osaka - Kansai Airport

Should I buy a 7 ou 14 days ticket?

Thank you so much in advance.

Hello there,

I checked your itinerary for the best option. This may sound strange at first but I would recommend buying normal tickets for your itinerary. Most of the travel you plan to do are short distances and not very expensive. The JR Pass is best used when you travel between different regions in Japan but in the above itinerary the only long distance travel is Tokyo - Kyoto, which would not be enough for the JR Pass to help.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
