Which Japan Rail Pass Should I buy?

Hello
I am traveling to Japan in October.
Landing in Osaka.
From Osaka I plan to travel to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Shizuoka, Mount Fuji, Tokyo (7days)
Can you tell me which Pass I need to buy?
Will that pass be valid for all my station mentioned?
Also please let me know which all other places I can cover in this Pass.
Thank you very much :)

Hello Palak,

I would certainly recommend a 7 day JR Pass for your itinerary. It covers travel between all the cities you mention and you can make great savings by visiting Hiroshima and Tokyo, using the JR Pass.

Note that you may have to purchase additional tickets for visiting Fuji, this however depends on what area around Fuji you wish to visit.

We also an a great interactive map you can use to find all lines covered by the JR Pass.

Hope this helps,

Daniel,

Thank you very much for your reply.
One last question:
What is difference between JR Lines & Shinkansen?
With JR Pass I can travel to both the routes and it's triain?
Or I can only travel on green lines or blue lines shown in interactive map?
Thanks

Hi again!

The Shinkansen are the bullet train lines, these are all covered. Normal JR lines are also covered.

So both Green and Blue lines are good!
