Hello,
Myself and a group of 8 other people will be flying into Narita on May 2nd ~2:30P and are planning to buy the 7 day unlimited rail pass to get into Tokyo then travel to Kyoto and then Osaka, with a day trip to Nara squeezed in there. We fly out on the 9th around 3:30, though we'd get to the airport around noon.
My question is, would the 7 day pass extend from Monday - Monday and our trip would be covered, or would it end on Sunday?

Hello there,
The JR Pass is counted in full days and the 1st day is counted in as full day. This would mean that a JR Pass activated on a Monday will expire on the following Sunday.
