Hello
I have purchased my JR rail pass and i am wondering if this can be used to travel from Osaka to the grand prix.
From what i see i may need to purchase a Kintetsu train pass for this trip.
Am i able to use the JR pass for even part of the trip to avoid buying an additional rail pass?

Thanks

Hi there,

You can use the JR Pass to travel from Osaka to the Suzuka Circuit. The route is as follows: take the Shinkansen from Osaka to Nagoya and from there either a limited express train or local service. There is a small charge of 300yen for the local service or 610 for the limited express service.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
