Traveling to Kyoto

Hi, now I already in Osaka, my hotel is in Shin-Osaka area. I need help to arrange my itinerary for one day trip in Kyoto. I have 3 places to visit and I have JR Pass. Please help me to arrange the best transportation for :
1. Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
2. Kinkakuji
3. Fushimi Inari Taisha

Need reply ASAP. Thanks.

Hello there,

Kinkaku-Ji and Arashiyama are in the west of Kyoto while Fushimi Inari is in the south.

I would first go to Kinkaku-Ji by taking a bus from Kyoto station. Then use a taxi to Arashiyama, it's not that far and it saves you from figuring out the bus system. From there you can use the JR to Fushimi Inari station with a transfer at Kyoto station.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi again!

I would estimate between 1,000-1,700yen. It does depends on traffic and what taxi company.

Thanks for the info, Daniel. I also wanna ask the best transportation from Todai-Ji to Kasuga Grand. Could u help me for the info ?

Hi again!

This one is easy. You could just walk the distance, it's not very far. Otherwise use the Nara city bus that stops near Todaiji and get off at Kasuga.
