Hello Katherine,

You can use the Shinkansen to travel from Hiroshima - Tokyo station (there is one transfer at Shin-Osaka), from Tokyo use the JR Yamanote line to travel to Shibuya.

The full route takes about 301 Minutes and there are at least 2 train services per hour departing Hiroshima.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel for the speedy response. Does the journey all part of JR Pass? Do I have to pay extra for the Shinkansen?

There are 4 of us in this trip. The following are our itinerary:

26 Apri -29 Apri - Shibuya to Kyoto for 4 days
30 Apr - 1 May - Hiroshima 2 day
2 May to 10 May - Shibuya 8 Day

Could you assist us to plot our timetable?

Thank you, Katherine

Hi again!

The JR Pass covers all these travel, including the bullet trains.

Here is an example route in Hyperdia. You can adjust the date/time/route at the bottom of the page to your own liking. All other options are set to work with the JR Pass.

Hope this helps too,
Daniel

Hi Katherine,

Yes, you can also make a stop at Fishimi Inari. The JR station name is simply called: Inari.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
