On an upcoming trip, I am planning on spending several days in Kyoto, staying one night in Osaka, one night in a temple in Koyasan, and then traveling to Tokyo for a few days.
Here is a rough itinerary:
Day 06-Train from Kyoto to Osaka. Hotel near Namba Station
Day 07-Train from Osaka to Koyasan. Stay in Temple
Day 08-Train from Koyasan to Osaka to Tokyo
I will have a JR Pass and a Koyasan World Heritage Ticket for the travel to Koyasan and return.
Can anyone provide me with specific details about what would be the easiest and least expensive way to travel through Osaka both:
1. from Kyoto to my hotel near Namba Station?
- and -
2. on my return trip when I will want to transfer between the Nankai Koya Line (Shin-Imamiya or Namba Station) to the Tokaido Shinkansen Line (Shin-Osaka Station)?
Thank you,
