Hi, I will be traveling to Gala Yuzawa on the morning of April 3, 2015. However, upon checking hyperdia, it says that route is not found for that day. I intend to take the Shinkansen Tanigawa from Tokyo Station to Gala Yuzawa Station using my JR Kanto Pass and Gala Yuzawa option ticket.
Is there a problem with the route on that day?
Hello there,
Shinkansen trains only travel to Gala Yuzawa in the Winter months. April outside of this season. Instead you can use the Shinkansen to Echigo-Yuzawa and take local transport to Gala Yuzawa, the stations are very close to each other.
