Me and my partner is travelling to Japan for our anniversary in 11th November, as this is our Free&Easy trip to Japan, so we were quite nervous on how to go about it: We landed in Narita Airport, and wanna to travel directly via JR to Osaka, how we go about it and which station to stop at Osaka is most advisable? Thank you!
Tokyo-Narita Airport to Osaka
Hi there,
The route to Osaka would look as follows:
Take the Narita Express from Narita Airport to Tokyo (around 60 minutes). There transfer to The Hikari Shinkansen bound for Shin-Osaka (about 180 minutes). From Shin-Osaka local trains run throughout the city.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
Thank you Daniel for the replied.
So, the total journey to Shin-Osaka will be estimate about 4 hours.
1) How much does is cost for us to travel via Narita Express to Tokyo? And how much to Shin-Osaka?
2) Is JR Pass covered all JR in Osaka, Kobe, Nara, Kyoto and Tokyo?
3) How much it cost to travel to Nara & Kobe if without JR Pass from Osaka?
4) How it charge to travel from Osaka to Kyoto?
5) We are planning to travel back to Tokyo from Kyoto, how much it cost and how long it take?
6) If we to stop at Mt.Fuji in between Kyoto & Tokyo, how much it cost and is it easy to reach Mt.Fuji?
7) Is there any other option instead of 7 Day Pass, we can get the 1 (one) day pass to travel around?
7) Can advise us which low fare hostel/hotel near the train station is nice and comfortable? (if can)
The above question is because we need to justify if we will able to fully utilize the JR Pass or not.
Please advise and looking forward to hear from you.
p/s: our travel period is 11th Nov (arrive at 4pm) till 18th Nov (depart at 11:30pm)
Thank you!
Aries
