19th Oct 2015 - Osaka
20th Oct 2015 - Osaka to Kyoto

20th Oct 2015 - Kyoto to Osaka
20th Oct 2015 - Osaka - Hakone or Fuji Five Lakes
21st Oct 2015 - Hakone / Fuji Five Lakes

23rd Oct 2015 - Tokyo

Which route will work more good and is it a good deal for us to buy 7days JR pass?
Appreciate if you can comment me on this planning. :)

Hi Amane,

Both routes work and I guess it really comes down to personal preference.

What I would recommend looking into is travel from Hakone - Kawaguchiko. This is not that easy as there are different transport companies involved and you would have to make a couple of transfers. Here's a guide on how to travel around the area.

The 7 day JR Pass will also give you nice savings, given that you use it to travel from Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka and back again to Tokyo. Within Hakone transport is not covered by the JR Pass, you can however look at a Hakone Free Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel-san,

Arigato for all the information provided.
We're travel for 4 pax, and the 7 days JR Pass cost quite a lot for our planned budget.

Do you have any suggestions for 8-days route (enter & exit at Haneda) if we would start from empty plan again? :D
Appreciate all the helps from Daniel-san and everyone.

Suggestions needed. :D
