Hello,
I am planning to go Japan in May 2016.
My travel plan is
Day 1- arrive to Tokyo (Narita airport)
Train to Tokyo

Day 2,3 -Sightseeing around Tokyo

Day 4- Bullet train from Tokyp to Mount Fuji (Hakone)
Start at Hakone Yumoto station Bus - Ropeway - Boat sightseeing Mount Fuji

Day 5- Bullet train from Hakone to Kyoto

Day 6 - Sightseeing Tyoto and Nara

Day 7 - Take train from Kyoto to Okasa (Kansai airport )

Does the 7 days JR pass cover all transportation?
Do I need to purchase any additional fare?
Which station should I get on and get off in each city?
Any other suggestion for this trip?

Very appreciated for answering all my questions.

Hello there,

The JR Pass covers most of your travel, however travel within Hakone is not included, here a Hakone Free Pass. I must also conclude that it would be cheaper to buy normal tickets for your trip, as you'll be traveling only one way from Tokyo - Kyoto. Generally a JR Pass starts to be cost effective if you travel at least one way.

Tokyo and Kyoto both have the same station name as the city. However you'll also want to find the closest local station to your hotel as well.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
