Hi there,

I checked your itinerary for the best option and recommend purchasing normal tickets during traveling. This because you travel one way from Tokyo - Kyoto via the Japanese alps and ticket prices cost less than the price of a 7 day JR Pass.

A JR Pass could have been useful if you returned to Tokyo after Osaka.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
