Hi,

I would by traveling to Japan from 01/03/2016 to 12/03/2016, as my current plan is:-

Day 1 (01/03/2016) - Tokyo
Day 2 (02/03/2016) - Mt Fuji
Day 3 (03/03/2016) - Day 5 (05/03/2016) - Osaka (Universal Studio, Aquarium etc)
Day 6 (06/03/2016) - Day 7 (07/03/2016) - Kyoto
Day 8 (08/03/2016) - Day 12 (12/03/2016) Tokyo

So my plan will cover Tokyo - MT Fuji - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo

I have wondering should i go Hokkaido as well? Or any other place that recommend ?

Thanks.

Hello Wan Ting,

I agree that using a 7 day JR Pass for Tokyo - MT Fuji - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo. The JR Pass will cover most of your travel here but you may still need additional travel around Fuji and local travel elsewhere. For Fuji, have a look at this page.

Given your itinerary, I don't think there is enough time to add in a trip to Hokkaido. You could however add a day trip from Kyoot/Osaka to Himeji or even Hiroshima.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
