Hi, I'll be traveling in Japan for two weeks and I wasn't sure if I would benefit from purchasing a JR pass. I'll be entering and leaving Japan from Narita airport. While in tokyo, I expect to take the rail a lot for traveling.

Day 1-4: Tokyo
Day 5: Kusatsu
Day 6-7: Tokyo
Day 8: Kamakura
Day 8-11: Kyoto
Day 11-14: Osaka

Thank you!

Hi there,

I think the best option would be to look at a 7 day JR Pass if you can make the return to Kansai (Kyoto/Osaka) within 7 days (Day 8 - Day 14).

If you plan on travelin a lot in Tokyo, make an estimake via www.jrpass.com/farecalculator to see if you can make savings using a 14 day JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
