Day 2:
Yamanouchi > Nozawa Onsen > Iiyama Snow Festival
Day 3:
Nagano > Tokyo > Asakusa

Hi there,
For this route it would be best to simply buy normal tickets as you travel.
This because there is no regional pass what would help you make savings, while the JR Pass would require a bit more travel in order to pay off.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your reply! We will be at Tokyo for around 7 days and here's our itinerary. Is JR East Pass covered all these places? Or a day pass would be more worthwhile?
Day 1:
Arrives at Haneda Int Airport > Explore Shinjuku
Day 2:
Explore Shinjuku, Harajuku > Yokohama
Day 3:
Tokyo Disneyland
Day 4:
Depart from Tokyo, head to Yamanouchi > Shiga Kogen Slope
Day 5:
Yamanouchi > Nozawa Onsen > Iiyama Snow Festival
Day 6:
Nagano > Tokyo > Explore Asakusa, Minato Area
Day 7:
Head to Haneda Int Airport
Hi again!
Yes mostly, however the part between Yamanouchi and Nagano is not included.
All other I can see is!
-Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for you suggestions! And how about JR Tokyo Wide Pass? Would it be more suitable for us instead of buying JR East Pass?
Hi again,
This pass would not be very suitable for your itinerary, I think buying normal tickets would be the way to go here.
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your advice and we just got our JR East Pass! But we have made some changes on our itinerary, which day 2 we wanted to go Hakone/Kawaguchiko to visit Mt Fuji. Is the JR East Pass cover these two area from Shinjuku?
Hi again!
Hakone is not included but you can travel to kawaguchiko.
