Hi,

I am travelling from Kansai airport on 2 feb to Hakuba. I arrive at 1300 at Kansai and would like to know, as I am making the return journey from Hakuba on 9 feb whether:
- 2 week JR pass is the best price for my travel - is buying point to point tickets better (if so, can i buy them in advance in Shanghai via a reccomended travel agent) - I want to travel on the bullet train for part of the trip, to keep the journey time to under 7 hours.

Any advice appreciated ASAP

Hello there,

It is better to buy normal tickets for this route, if you only plan to travel by rail from Kansai to Hakuba and back.

A one way ticket Kansai - Hakuba is ¥ 13,970.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
