hello I will be using my first JR pass tomorrow
I am in ota gunma and I plan to head to Nagoya. but first thing I noticed I have to stop by Tokyo.
there are also a few transfers... will I be using my JR pass or is it a different fare for these kind of transfers?
please let me know an easy way to understand the use of JR pass to my trip from ota gunma station to Nagoya station.
Hi there,
Have a look at this route and then Route NR2. The JR Pass covers the green trains and the Shinkansen. However for this route part is also travelled on non-JR railways.
