Hello,
I am wondering if it is worth buying a JR pass for our trip
We are planning:
Arrive in Osaka and stay for 4 days with 1 day trip to Nara
Leave Osaka and go to Nagoya
Leave Nagoya and travel to Tokyo
Depart to home country from Tokyo
All one-way except for the day trip to Nara.
Is it better to buy separate tickets?
Thank you!
Diana

Hi Diana,
I would buy normal tickets for this one.
A JR Pass is great when travelling longer distances. Your itinerary in abstract is a one way route from Kansai to Tokyo, with different stops in between and its simply more economic to buy normal tickets.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
