Hello dear friend.
As I have read, there's no train direct Kyoto-Hiroshima-Kyoto, so I think it's better if I stay one more night in Osaka and go to Hiroshima from there before I go for may days Kyoto. Is that right? I will be there in April/2017 and now I am planning my trip.

Another question: how long does it take to go from Osaka to Kyoto and what are the station names?

Thank you very much for the help!

Hello there,

It is only 30min travel between Kyoto and Osaka stations. You could easily make the trip to Hiroshima from Kyoto without too much inconvenience.

The station names are the same as the city names (Kyoto and Osaka) the station name for the Shinkansen in Osaka is called Shin-Osaka.

I hope you find this useful,
Daniel
