Good afternoon, we travel next March 14 to Japan. The chosen route is:

Tokyo-Nikko
Nikko-Hakone
Hakone-Hiroshima
Hirhoshima-Miyajima
Miyjamia-Nara
Nara-Kyoto
Kyoto-Tokyo

I would be interested in if you can tell me what lines should I select to use the JRP, considering that you can not use the Shinkansen "Nozomi" "Mizuho".

I think the most complicated connection will be Hakone - Hiroshima

I appreciate most about my trips.

Waiting to hearing from you,

PatriciaMA

Hi there,

When using Hyperdia, unselect the option NOZOMI / MIZUHO /
HAYABUSA (SHINKANSEN) when traveling south of Tokyo. However keep the option Bullet Train (SHINKANSEN) on, this will give you the best routes.

For north of Tokyo you can leave the Nozomi/Hayabusa option on as the Hayabusa is covered by the JR Pass.

Hakone - Hiroshima is not too hard. Take a bullet train from Odawara station (Hakone) and travel to Shin-Osaka, here transfer to the Sakura Shinkansen bound for Hiroshima.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thank you so much,

I just realize that I could unselect the option Nozomi

The connections between trains are few minutes. Give it really time to change the platform considering that the language is unknown and usually we go a little lost?

Hi there,

Generally transfers are very easy. There are English electric sign boards on every Shinkansen station and finding the way never is hard!
