Hello! First trip to Japan and I am so excited to explore. I plan on getting the JR pass as I will be doing a round trip from Tokyo to Osaka. I believe I can use it as well from the hotels to Disney in Tokyo and in Osaka we will be going to Monkey Mountain. What I am wondering is, I fly in to Narita Airport, and will have my luggage with me. Is there room on the train or is luggage even allowed? I will also be taking it to and from Osaka with me. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

The Narita Express from Narita Airport into Tokyo has special luggage rooms in every train car. This train is specially build for passengers going to / coming from the airport.

There is also luggage space on the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto, a little less but still enough to bring a full suitcase.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
