I & my family (7 adults + 1 infant) plan to travel to Tottori on 29th Oct. We are staying in Best Western Hotel Kansai Airport. We plan to visit the Kurayoshi Tourist Pear Farm in Sawa Yama Nashi Danchi Furukawasawa, Kurayoshi. We have our 1 week JR Pass (23rd to 29th) and how do we go about it. Would appreciate if you can advise how to take the JR train to my destination.

Hi there,
For the Kurayoshi Tourist Pear Farm from Kansai, you should aim to get to JR Kurayoshi station using this timetable which will get you there in about 4 hours. This route is 100% covered by the JR Pass. From JR Kurayoshi, you should use a local taxi, or ask at the station for the correct bus service to use.

Thanks for your useful feedbacks & JR timetable. Greatly appreciate that. I am still trying to get in contact with the farm through email but has been unsuccessful. Only have phone contact but I don't understand Japanese & did not call. Maybe when I reach Osaka, will ask the hotel staff to call to book the farm tour.
