JR PASS to match our itinerary

Holla there,

I plan to travel to Japan with my family on July 2016 and need your assistance prior buying JR PASS. We will stay in Shinjuku Prince Hotel with Seibu Shinjuku Station on its 2nd floor.

Based on our itinerary below please advice how to get to each destination using JR PASS:
1. From Haneda Airport to hotel (Seibu Shinjuku Station)
2. From Shinjuku to Mt. Fuji
3. From Shinjuku to Hakone
4. From Shinjuku to Disneyland/Disneysea
5. From Shinjuku to Kyoto
6. From Shinjuku to Asakusa

Many thanks in advance

Hi there,

Yes, a 7 day JR Pass is recommend here if you use it at least for the trip Shinjuku - Kyoto. The price of a 7 day JR Pass is about the same as a return ticket for this trip, so from there any additional travel you can cover adds to your savings.

The JR Pass can also be used for travel to Disneyland, Hakone and on local JR lines in Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for you reply. In conclusion, it's worth buying JR PASS rather than buying separate tickets, correct?
Other question, what's the closest way to get to JR Station from our hotel, is it through Seibu Shinjuku Station or on foot? How long does it take?

Thanks

Hi again,

Yes, definately.

JR Shinjuku is closely located to Seibu Shinjuku and can be reached on foot.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
