Hello again. I've been trying to research but can't the answer to my question. I rode the tokaido Shinkansen before and I remember being asked for my ticket. With my Jr. Pass, do I have to get a ticket at the counter or do I just show my Jr pass to the guard and the persons inside the Shinkansen? Many thanks.

Hello there,
You can either just hop on the train and take a non reserved seat. Or reserve a seat in advance in advance.
The JR Pass covers both options.
