JR pass or prepaid card?

I will be going to japan on jan 2017 with my friend. Is it worth it to buy a 7 day jr pass or use a prepaid card instead? Below is our itinerary. Hope you can help me plan my trip.

Day 1
Arrive at chubu airport in nagoya.

Day 2
Travel to tokyo
Tour around tokyo

Day 3
Travel to mt fuji
Visit fuji q highland theme park
Visit gotemba outlet
Travel back to tokyo

Day 4
Travel to hakuba/sapporo for skiing
Stay overnight

Day 5
Whole day ski
Then travel back to tokyo

Day 6
Travel to nagpya

Day 7
Tour around nagoya

Hello there,

If you are going to Hokkaido, then a 7 day JR Pass is definitely recommend. However Hakuba is a bit different.

I recommend using our JR Fare Calculator in order to see the total cost of your itinerary and how it matches up to the JR Pass.
