Is it possible to use the JR Kanto Area Pass on the Shinkansen from Tokyo up to Takasaki? I plan to show my mother around Tokyo, and then after we have finished, we will come up to Takasaki. If all of this can be done on the same pass, I would be ecstatic, and the map seems to indicate that?

Hi there,

Yes the Kanto Pass covers the Shinkansen to Takasaki.
