Hello! I am planning to activate my 7 day Japan Rail on January 11th 2017 at 6:00 pm, I would like to know when my JP Rail is going to expire. For example, if I take a train the seventh day at 5:00 pm and I arrive to destination at 8:00, is this ok? Or I need to be at destination before 6:00 PM?
Thanks a lot
Sergio

Hi Sergio,
The JR Pass is counted in full consecutive days and the first day is counted as a full day no matter when you start using it.
For example, you start using the JR Pass on a Monday. Then the last day of use is the following Sunday up to midnight.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
