Hi there,

I checked your itinerary to find the best option and recommend buying normal train tickets for your plan.

Your travel is centered in two areas of Japan, the Kansai area (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara) and Kanto (Tokyo). The JR Pass is best used if you travel a couple of times between regions in Japan. In your itinerary this is limited to a one way Osaka - Tokyo, for instance a return would already help you make savings. The day trips do add up to a good amount as well but the total price is below that of a 7 day JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Danie
