Hi, I will be travelling to Japan in February for 10 days/nights. I will arrive in Haneda airport and will stay in Tokyo the first 3days. The 4th day I will be off to Osaka for 3 or 4 days and the last 3 days I will return back to Tokyo and exit from Haneda. During my 3 or 4 days in Osaka I would like to make a day trip to Kyoto and also dedicate a whole full day at Universal Studios. Therefore in a bigger view my trip would be Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto-Osaka-Tokyo. I understand that the train fee between Osaka and Kyoto isn't too expensive, so would a JR pass be worth it during this trip? Or am I better off buying single train tickets all the way?
Also, will I be spending a lot more on subway or other transportations in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka or would the JR cover most?
Would most appreciate some help!
