Hi,
I will be visiting Hokkaido on 2-12/02/2015.
Itinnary as follows:-

6/02 - Reach Sapporo at 8 am. Overnight in Sapporo
7/02 - Visit Otaru day trip. Overnight in Sapporo.
8/02 - Visit Hakodate. Overnight in Hakodate.
9/02 - Visit Noberibetsu. Overnight in Noberibetsu.
10/02 - Back to Sapporo. (book free shuttle bus with Hotel)
11/02 - Visit Sapporo and surrounding.
12/02 - Fly back to Malaysia.

Based on the itinenary above, do you think I should get the rail pass. Also in you can give me the prices of individual
trips.

Hello there,

For this itinerary I'd advise buying normal tickets, or you could look at the JR Hokkaido pass - since all travel is done within Hokkaido.

A one way ticket Sapporo - Hakodate is ¥ 9,030
Hakodate - Nobori Betsu ¥ 7,090
and Nobori Betsu - Sapporo ¥ 4,680

The rail pass cost 15450 yen whereas the individual tickets cost more is it?
Can i get the rail pass when i reach hokkaido. Will i get some advise from the infomation counter?
Any website where i have more info on the places that i wish to visit.
