Hi there,

Letes take a look at your basic itinerary ticket costs to see if a 14 day rail pass (¥45,100) will be worth it for you:

  1. Tokyo > Yokohama: ¥1460, (23mins, 28km)
  2. Yokohama > Kyoto: ¥12590, (164mins, 492km)
  3. Kyoto > Arita: ¥17600, (298mins, 757km)
  4. Arita > Nagasaki(nagasaki): ¥5690, (128mins, 143km)

TOTAL: ¥37340 for 4 legs

Based on the ticket prices and your trip length, I think it makes more sense for you to purchase individual rail tickets as needed rather than going for a 14 day pass as you will save around ¥7000 vs a 14 day Japan Rail Pass. If you were returning to Tokyo using the pass it would be a different story, but as you are flying back, I think ticket makes the most sense.

Hope this helps!
